“We thought Pogba would be the leader of Man United, but he disappeared to Brighton”
paul Scholes has criticized Paul Pogba and claims Manchester United has no team leaders after shameful loss 3-2 to Brighton.
Scholes, who has represented the club’s colors for 20 years, was incredibly critical of United’s unfortunate appearance, but most of the blame has been attributed to Pogba.
The Frenchman was the captain of the team for the second match after the absence of Antonio Valencia, but failed to persuade even though he scored at the end of the penalty game.
“There is a shortage of leaders in the team,” Scholes told Optus Sport.
“We thought Pogba would be the ideal candidate to be the leader but he was not in the field today. He made a poor match. It is very unstable.
“Pogba has made a lot of mistakes in the passes and is often caught out of position.”
