Mourinho finds the club in France
Jose Mourinho has been unemployed since December 18, when he was fired from Manchester United’s position. However, he is now believed to have found the next club.
The French newspaper, L’Equipe, reports that Jose Mourinho is planning to move to France to continue his career as a coach. However, he does not want to take the lead of Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint-Germain.
According to the big French newspaper, Mourinho has identified Lyon and Monaco as the two clubs he prefers to continue his career after being dismissed from the post of “Red Devils” at the end of last year.
Lyon is currently in third place in the Ligue 1 table, 24 points behind the leader, Paris Saint-Germain. They were eliminated from the Champions League after having lost 5: 1 defeat by Barcelona.
On the other hand, Monaco is going through a rather difficult time after replacing Leonardo Jardim with Thierry Henry. When Henry did not meet expectations, Monaco returned Jardim once again to the coach chair.
Monaco is in the 16th position in Ligue 1 table, eight points from the last three, but this is not why Lyon remains the favorite to be the next club for Mourinho. L’Equipe suggests that Mourinho will not go to Monaco as he has the same agent with Jardim.
Spanish media had claimed that Mourinho had been close to appointing Real Madrid coach position, but Zinedine Zidane had finally won this position.
