Hamsik’s sale in China fails

Mark Hamsik’s transfer to the Chinese Superliga has taken a sudden turn after Napoli has announced that it will suspend the sale in Dalian Yifang because of changing the payment methods.

The agreement between the clubs was reached about Hamsik, whose Naples players even made a surprising party for his farewell last night.

However, tonight Napoli published a statement on its official website stating that it had suspended Hamsik’s sale.

“Napoli has decided to suspend the sale of Marek Hamsik to the Chinese club, the method of payment does not comply with the arrangements reached in the deal,” said Napoli’s announcement.

Napoli was expected to receive 18 million euros plus 2 million in bonuses, while Hamsik 9 million a year in China.
