The Barcelona president does not want to talk about Griezmann

Barcelona’s president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has changed the subject of discussion when asked about Antoine Griezmann and the rumors linking the French with the Catalan club, focusing on the challenges that the club expects.

Despite Barca’s 2: 0 victory over Atletico Madrid on Saturday at a decisive title meeting, Bartomeu has called for calm, stressing that the club has the biggest battles to win this season.

Although Barcelona has almost secured the title in La Liga, Bartomeu wants the team to continue with victory.

“The match with Manchester United is difficult,” Bartomeu said on the eve of the first quarterfinal meeting in the Champions League in Old Trafford on Wednesday.

“We have to keep on winning and extend our satisfaction by the end of the season, but Atletico will not make it easy,” he added.

Asked about the gossip that linked Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona, ??almost a year after the Frenchman rejected Barcelona, ??Bartomeu did not want to comment.

“No, in Barcelona, ??at this stage of the season, we are not talking about players, certainly not for other club players,” he stressed.
