Arsenal and Cardiff honors Sala with a flower crown

The striker, whose plane disappeared last week, was commemorated in the current Arsenal match with Cardiff.

Arsenal and Cardiff City have paid attention about the homage to the missing attacker Emiliano Sala by featuring flowers during the match that is taking place at the Emirates Stadium.

Guernsey Police has completed the search for the rescue operation of Sala, who was on board the plane Piper Malibu with pilot David Ibbotson when the plane disappeared along the way to the Welsh capital of Nantes last Monday.

The room was a record transfer to Cardiff and had signed the weekend before the 28-year-old and his family would resume life in Wales.

Cardiff Tuesday traveled to London where he played against Arsenal, who was supposed to play in the match, but instead reminded him of yellow flowers.

The flowers were also in the match program, which also included Sala as part of Cardiff’s squad, with a flower where his number was.

Cardiff’s chief executive Ken Choo has explained that using flowers on Friday has a sense of both the Eagles and Nantes.

“It’s a yellow flower, a flower of Wales that makes sense for Nantes,” he said. “We feel pain for FC Nantes, their fans and players.”

“They definitely know Emiliano better than us, and it’s harder for him at this point.”
