Top 10 most expensive Premier League transfers during January

Clubs do not have easy access to transfer players during the January transfer, as the clubs do not want to lose players in the middle of the season. However, over the past few years, Premier League has spent a lot of money in January.

Liverpool broke the record for transferring a player during the January transfer window, when last year bought midfielder Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton for a total of 84m euros.
