Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold couldn’t have hit his free-kick against Rangers any sweeter in Tuesday’s Champions League Group A victory.
Amid criticisms over his recent dip in form, the Reds right-back responded in style by finding the top corner with a sensational curling effort to give Liverpool an early 1-0 lead at Anfield.
The Reds went on to beat the Scottish champions 2-0 after Mohamed Salah’s second-half penalty.
