Guardiola insists on Saul
Manchester City has made nearly £ 65m for Saul Niguez.
Manchester City has turned away from West Ham’s talent, Declan Rice, and is now interested in Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, according to teamtalk.
City thinks the price that has placed English clubs for Rice is too high and the club has changed the target, now Pep Guardiola loves Saul.
The Spanish midfielder has been a regular starter under Diego Simeone’s command and has also managed to take part in the Spanish national team.
The 24-year-old, who debuted at Atletico’s first team in 2011 and has so far scored 33 goals in 240 appearances, has contracted with the Spanish club by 2026.
But a £ 65m offer, perhaps even a bit higher, seeing Guardiola’s desire to replace the elder, Fernandinho – can convince Atletico’s leaders to give up the Spanish midfielder.
